Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Cory Friedman

Cory is a CPA and property management executive bringing over a decade of experience in property management. While looking to grow his own property management company, Cory was tired of the status quo of legacy property management solutions on the market and took the initiative to leverage his expertise in accounting and property management to build his own platform from scratch. The platform was so successful for Cory’s property management company that he decided to commercialize the platform and sell it to other property management companies facing the same pain points that he was.

Abir Abbas

Abir is a full stack and cloud engineer with over 5 years of experience leading technical teams and bringing apps and digital products to life. Most recently during his time at Lazer Technologies, Abir worked with a lot of seed, series A and series B companies, helping their engineering teams and infrastructure scale. Abir has been the technical lead on projects in healthcare, blockchain, quantum computing, EdTech and more. Abir assembled and leads an all-star team of engineers and product designers to help bring the Kompas vision to life.

Can I execute rental applications on the platform?

Yes. You can perform three types of rental applications on the platform. A transunion credit check, an ID verification as well as an income and asset verification. Please see our transactional pricing details here to understand the cost breakdown of each rental application.

Is the platform offered in both French and English?

Yes. The platform, including the tenant portal, is offered in both French and English.

What types of payment methods can tenants use to pay rent on the platform?

Tenants can pay their rent on the platform using debit card (EFT), credit card or interac e-transfer. Please see our transactional pricing details here to understand the cost breakdown of each payment method.

How many units do I need to use the platform?

Our smallest plan supports up to 50 units. So even if you have only 1 property you can use the platform with the full set of features available.

What happens if my portfolio size changes over time?

Twice a year, we will re-evaluate the size of your portfolio to adjust your monthly subscription fee. This will allow your organization to grow at whatever pace you would like without having to worry on a monthly basis the changing cost of your software subscription.
