No. Our subscription plans support unlimited users. We also understand that different users may require different levels of access and authorization. We have made user management something very easy to manage with our dediciated user roles as well as our role-based access control that can be customized to the property level.

With over 60+ different reports spanning across lease management, accounting and maintenance, we have leverage our industry expertise to put together a list of report types that are designed to give you the information you need to make the best real time decisions possible. An added benefit of our reporting is that you have the ability to build out your own custom reporting packages by picking and choosing your favorites Kompas reports to merge together.

Yes. You can perform three types of rental applications on the platform. A transunion credit check, an ID verification as well as an income and asset verification. Please see our transactional pricing details here to understand the cost breakdown of each rental application.

Yes. We will work with you and your team to include your own custom lease annex documents. For reference, some lease annex documents could include: building rules, pet addendum forms, pre-authorized debit agreements, transfer of utility forms and more.

Yes. The platform, including the tenant portal, is offered in both French and English.

Yes. You can pay your suppliers on the platform using an EFT payment (direct bank payment). All you will need is to upload a void cheque and banking details of your supplier in order to digitally pay them for their invoices. Tenants can pay their rent on the platform using debit card (EFT), credit card or interac e-transfer. Please see our transactional pricing details here to understand the cost breakdown of each payment method.

Our platform is designed to support multiple legal entities and multiple Chart of Accounts and separate accounting books. The beauty here is that even with this multiple entity setup, you can take advantage of many of our centralized dashboards in order to zoom in or zoom out of your entire portfolio – regardless of legal entity owner.

Our smallest plan supports up to 50 units. So even if you have only 1 property you can use the platform with the full set of features available.

We currently support the following asset classes: Multi-family, single-family rentals, student housing, commercial, retail, office, and industrial properties.

Yes you can execute digital leases on the platform using our digital signature feature. During the onboarding process we will work with you to establish your lease templates for your different regions in order to ensure that all leases are in compliance with your regional legal requirements.

We will focus on migrating both lease management, accounting and banking data to ensure a seamless migration process. Lease management data includes owners, buildings, units, rentable items, tenants, leases and renewals. Accounting data includes chart of accounts, trial balances, accounts receivable ledgers, accounts payable ledgers, bank reconciliation data and more. Banking data includes bank account details for both landlord accounts and tenant accounts if applicable.

Our onboarding process will start with the merchant approval process that is required to enable your business to take advantage of online payments for both tenants rent collections and vendor accounts payable payments. Once that is complete, our team will work on completing our migration data checklist. This means that our team will take you through a step-by-step process to ensure that all pertinent data from your previous systems are collected accurately and with the least amount of friction as possible. Once the data migration process is underway, our team will schedule either an in person or remote training schedule for you and your team. During the training, we will discuss certain items like custom lease templates, marketing materials to distribute to tenants as well as other best practices to ensure that you and your team can get the most benefit out of the platform.

Yes. Aside from the subscription fee, there are certain transactional fees for activities executed on the platform. A full list of transactional based pricing can be found here.

Twice a year, we will re-evaluate the size of your portfolio to adjust your monthly subscription fee. This will allow your organization to grow at whatever pace you would like without having to worry on a monthly basis the changing cost of your software subscription.

If you decide not to renew your subscription, we will be sad to see you go but we will ensure to provide you with all of your historical data in order for you to transition to your next solution.
